Mastering the Installation of Your Cinderella Incineration Toilet

•

Installing a Cinderella incineration toilet is straightforward, providing a reliable and off-grid-ready sanitation solution built to last for years. To ensure optimal performance and keep your warranty valid, always follow the detailed instructions included in the product manual.

A complete setup requires the Cinderella incineration toilet itself (along with model-specific components included in the toilet box) plus the universal installation kit, which arrives in two boxes:

  • Installation Kit – Box 1:
    • 1x black air inlet grate,
    • 1x flue terminal cap
    • 1x 87-degree elbow
    • 3x pipe clamps/fasteners
    • Universal installation kit quick guide.
  • Installation Kit – Box 2:
    • 6x UV-stabilised ventilation pipes with sockets (1000 mm / 39.37 in).
  • Cinderella toilets carry an IP34 rating, making them fully approved for wet rooms and unheated spaces like cabins, tiny homes, and sheds.
  • Place the toilet on a flat, solid surface (tile, concrete, or wood – avoid carpets). Floor heating is completely fine.
  • No floor bolting is required; leaving the unit unattached simplifies routine maintenance.
  • Cinderella Comfort & Premium: Utilise a dedicated air intake pipe connected directly to the toilet unit.
  • Cinderella Classic & Freedom: Require an external wall vent (min. 145 x 145 mm or Ø 160 mm round). Position vents close to the unit to minimize drafts, and avoid using mosquito nets as they restrict essential airflow.
  • Venting Routes: Choose either an interior installation (running vertically up through the roof) or exterior installation (running horizontally through an exterior wall, then vertically past the roofline).
  • Piping Rules: The vent pipe must run straight vertically from the elbow. Up to two 45° bends (max 1 meter apart) are permitted for electric models, but the gas-powered Freedom model must be vented straight up with no additional bends.
  • Roof Clearance: The exhaust pipe must extend at least 60 cm (24 inches) above its exit point on the roof.
  • Electric Models (Classic, Comfort, Premium): Require a dedicated, grounded 10A wall circuit.
  • Gas Model (Freedom): Connects to a standard propane gas cylinder or tank alongside a 12V battery (min. 50 Ah) or solar system. Always adhere to local Australian gas regulations during setup.
